This is an improvement of 388 frames of my last Lucky Luke TAS [2316] GBC Lucky Luke by TheKDX7 in 24:19.08

Game objectives

  • Aims for fastest time
  • Take damage to save time
  • Uses the hardest difficulty
  • Uses no password
  • Genre platform

Comments

The biggest error of the previous TAS was to amuse the viewers by making Lucky Luke slide on the ground rather than to make him simply walk...

Stage by stage comments with improvements

Mexico City (Frames Saved: 98)

  • Walk instead of sliding on the ground.
  • Change of route.
  • Empty his reserves of chargers and some dynamites at the end of the level.

Stagecoach (Frames Saved: 10)

  • Do not take a star which was on the way.
  • More entertainment.

Painful Gulch (Frames Saved: 60)

  • Change of route.

Train (Frames Saved: 0)

  • Nothing changed.

Saloon (Frames Saved: 44)

  • Take damage to save from time thanks to the rat in the basement.
  • More precise movements.
  • Empty his reserves of chargers and some dynamites at the end of the level.

The Prairie (Frames Saved: 40)

  • Take damage with the explosion rather than the snake.
  • Move back some frames before going on the blocks which we have to push.
  • Walk instead of sliding on the ground.
  • Empty his reserves of chargers and some dynamites at the end of the level.

Buffalo (Frames Saved: 0)

  • Nothing changed.

Ranch (Frames Saved: 5)

  • More precise movements.
  • Empty his reserves of chargers and some dynamites at the end of the level.

Rapids (Frames Saved: 0)

  • Nothing changed.

Cheyenne Mountains (Frames Saved: 109)

  • More precise movements.
  • Obtain the wing of the totem more quickly (not wait that the snake retraces his steps).
  • Take damage with various places.
  • Empty his reserves of chargers and some dynamites at the end of the level.

Tornado (Frames Saved: 0)

  • Nothing changed.
  • More entertainment.

Jail (Frames Saved: 22)

  • Take damage to save from time thanks to the rat.
  • Move back some frames before going on the blocks which we have to push.

Suggested Screenshot.

11996 or 11998 (Lucky Luke walk in the air at end of the Stagecoach level)
I hope that you go to appreciate this last version of the TAS!
Last recommendation: could anybody supply me an encoding? Thank you in advance!

I added an encode to the submission text. I don't really remember the previous movie, but I enjoyed the movements you did for entertainment in the autoscrolling levels and boss battles. I can't say I found the run very entertaining overall, so I'm voting No, but it's a good improvement and I see no reason why it shouldn't be published.

I was on the edge of meh and yes, but then you ended a level by punching a tornado, and I was convinced. One thing though. Why'd you collect so much ammo in the Jail?

I was not obliged to collect it but some were on the road. In every level I empty my charger to avoid losing frames at the end of the levels, given that in this last level the movie end arrives before the discount of the score that does not affect the time.

I know it doesn't affect the time, but it looks a little sloppy, especially since some of the ammo seemed a little far away.

I am sorry that you had this impression.

Voted no because you didn't made the dynamite explode at the same time a bullet hits it and a Dalton brother get the hit. For shame. Seriously, that was way more entertaining than the previous movie! My favorite levels were the autoscrollers, they have that cool song and Lucky Luke really acts like he doesn't care about what's going on around here.
