About the game

Zook Hero Z is the prequel of Rockman DX3 (also known as Zook Hero 2), created by Taiwanese unlicensed game developer Vast Fame. Even moreso than its sequel, it is a clear rip off of Mega Man and Mega Man X. The engine is practically exactly the same, which means that all the physics-defying movement tricks of the RDX3 run are also applied here.
I enter a few stages, destroy a few bosses, get a few upgrades (the usual) before going to Dr. Mean's fortress and beating him there. Credits ensue.

That was... actually pretty good! Love how you snapped the game in two with all those collision glitches. Mmmm... out of bounds. I wonder what a run that clears all the other stages would look like? Maybe a "100%" run that gets all the other "Arms" and weapons? (btw, Leg Arm cracks me up) Yes vote! For reals!

Could you clarify what you actually need to do to finish the game? You get upgrades, it seems, but you don't actually fight bosses in all the stages. And do the weapons make a difference in damage this time at boss fights? It's a pretty fun, broken run though, just like Zook Hero 2.
Used to be a frequent submissions commenter. My new computer has had some issues running emulators, so I've been here more sporadically. Still haven't gotten around to actually TASing yet... I was going to improve Kid Dracula for GB. It seems I was beaten to it, though, with a recent awesome run by Hetfield90 and StarvinStruthers. (http://tasvideos.org/2928M.html.)
