Now through the magic of FCEU's frame advance...I bring you Milon's Secret Castle 29 seconds faster than my previous version.
Improvements over the last version:
  • MUCH faster boss fights
  • Better path through the second parts of both towers
  • Quicker jump to the window of the last dragon
  • Faster disposal of the birds with the crown and scepter
  • More precise and faster jumping
  • Quicker getting of the balloon in the well
  • No wasted shots
Other notes: I kill all the enemies in the first room that I do in order to make the key appear.
The placement of the real last boss is random, and I'm not sure at what point it is set. I went back as far as the last dragon and the last boss was always in the farthest room, so I lose a couple seconds having to run that far.

In the first screen of the Well, why do you fall to the bottom to touch the glove? I'm playing through this game for the first time right now and I can get through the left passage without shrinking.

hmm...you're right, I never realized I could go down and around, that means I can skip even buying the thing that makes me shrink, saving even more time. Also, there are $16 in the first room, which may be faster to collect than going into the bonus room since now I know that's all I need, I'll have to experiment EDIT------------ Okay, now I remember why I do it the way I do. The first boss won't appear unless you buy the shrink potion. The only ways to get the necessary funds are to either use the bonus round, or go through level 1-2 as well. The bonus round is faster.

oh man if you press left + right he will start running to the right, but backwards and will shoot left while runing right, is that usefull in the game? you cant do that with regular fceu, gotta do with the other patched one

if it was the other way it would be useful for boss fights, but running to the right and shooting left isn't useful really at all
