Okay, I have never used an emulator before. I'm pretty sure that emuhawk is the emulator, but correct me if im wrong. Anyways, I have norton, and norton doesn't recommend this, as their are "less than five users in the Norton community have used this file", "This file was released less than a week ago", and "There is not enough information about his file to recommend it." Also,"this file was downloaded from Unkown."
i'm sorry, I just want to be 99.9% sure that I WON'T get a virus. My dad would go berserk, and my life would suck. And I just ran it and it got removed by Norton.
What do you tell your grandma about clicking too good to be true offers in her email? Norton's treating you like you treat your grandma. Are you grandma?
If you're grandma, wait until more than 5 Norton users have used it and it's a month old and whatever you use for advice stops warning you off.
You know what I tell my family to keep them safe? You can't do anything fun on the internet. If it seems fun, it isn't safe.

Oh shush. My parents were like that - very liberal (not in the US sense) generally, but a bit controlling about technology because they knew just enough to be paranoid. I actually appreciate that, as it means I have to do so much less "grandma"-style tech support.
I had to use Norton until I was old enough to convince them I knew what I was doing and Norton was no good. Not that Norton's too bad any more, just it has plenty of broken things, like refusing to allow signature exclusions for WS.Reputation.1, and more importantly (for programmers), the current version won't let me set an exclusion for programs I WROTE and am trying to debug. Yes, they have code included that allows other processes to hook into them... it's called debugging -.-
(The set exclusion dialog exists, but does nothing). I don't know whether they've fixed it, but it was such a pita at the time.
