I just tried the game on BizHawk and it displays glitched, garbage graphics on the intro cutscene. Here are some pics: BizHawk version: 1.11.1 Bios: [BIOS] Super CD-ROM System (Japan) (v3.0).pce Game: Magical_Fantasy_Adventure_-_Popful_Mail_(NTSC-J)_[HECD4011].cue Profile: Tool-assisted Speedruns Is there a way to make the graphics display properly?

Is it a confirmed good dump? More specifically, is the symbol in the lower left corner of the BizHawk window a checkmark or a question block? EDIT: If it's good, does it act the same in 1.11.3?

It's showing a yellow question block. In other words, that means it's a bad dump, right? EDIT: I should not have even asked. It's obvious that it's a bad dump. <.< Gotta get a new one then........ *sigh*

Those glitches are the result of inaccurate emulation, not a bad dump. They can be fixed by emulating the halting of the HuC6280 that occurs while attempting to access VRAM during DMA, or "fixed" by overclocking the emulated HuC6280 so that it runs much faster than normal(though that will probably cause mid-frame scanline effect timing glitches).

Is it something that could be fixed by the next BizHawk release? Not sure how high in the priority this would be, so take my question lightly. I do know that accuracy matters, though.

I'm not a Bizhawk developer, but I can say it would be decidedly non-trivial to properly fix the issue.
