Post subject: Issue with Frame Advance: Randomly Pauses/Plays

I'm using Dolphin 4.0-8246 to TAS 007: Agent Under Fire and I have frame advance mapped to 0 on the numpad. As I am advancing frames the emulator can randomly enter play mode, then when I hit frame advance again it pauses, hit it again and it plays, hit it again and it pauses and so on instead of advancing frames. I have to sit and wait during a pause for the frame advance key to start working again as it's supposed to, I honestly cannot tell what solves the issue each time it occurs. I have tried mapping frame advance to several keys with no improvement. This has become a moderate nuisance now and I'm hoping there's an easy way to fix it. Thanks!

Did you check to make sure that pause isn't mapped to the same key or to Insert?

It is not.

Frame advance randomly unpausing the emulation is a known bug. Currently, the only known fix is to go back to Dolphin 4.0-5400 or older.

This has finally been fixed as of 4.0-9390.

Wow! Finally!
TASing is like making a film: only the best takes are shown in the final movie.

It does not seem to cause desyncs for me. A work-around seems to be to frame advance 3+ times really slowly.
