According to this page, I tried to use these libretro cores: 2048 catsfc fceumm mgba emux_gb fba imageviewer mednafen_ngp desmume 4do For me, catsfc, mgba seems to work perfectly fceumm, NES seems to work, but FDS give me this, as 4do 2048 show me this error emux_gb, mednafen_ngp and fba give me this For fba, this page says "open the .zip file directly, don't dearchive" but BizHawk only lets you load .dll files.

uhhh looks like something broke after i tested it. put the libwinpthread-1.dll in the bizhawk dll directory and you should be able to replicate my results. Although a guy who writes ["open the .zip file directly, don't dearchive" but BizHawk only lets you load .dll files] might have a hard time replicating anything since it indicates you completely havent understood how to use the Open Advanced dialog box. I updated the wiki about the dll directory. To run FDS in fceumm, make sure disksys.rom is in the same directory as your game. I just guessed this on my first try. Don't complain about something not working til youve tried it in retroarch. Now how do you flip disks? I have no idea. Regarding 4do, I told you it was flaky.

1. Open the Advanced dialog box 2. Load the libretro core dll file 3. Load the game What I didn't understand? Or so I really misread and that's fba rom we should not unzip, which seems much more logical, and I'm a moron who misread.

I can't even load any core. Every time I try to, BizHawk crashes. I tried putting libwinpthread-1.dll and everything else in the RetroArch redist to at least three different locations (Cores directory, Libretro directory, BizHawk's main DLL directory), both nightly and stable 1.2.2. Same crash when trying to load a core. Nope, the cores I downloaded were all 32-bit and I tried with the 32-bit versions of libwinpthread-1.dll and anything else in the RetroArch redist.

well, until phoneix1291 reports back, I'd say we're 2 for 3. Gotta collect more data. Try disabling your security software, as always. Uhh also try disabling DEP or something.
