For people using the newest builds of Dolphin for movie recording and whatnot, I could really use a favor. There was a bug in how GameCube controller input is handled, and while I can test games conventionally, I'm not really experienced with movie recording. https://github.com/dolphin-emu/dolphin/pull/3457 This potentially changes how often inputs are polled for (to make it more correct,) and I just want to make sure that TASing isn't completely broken by it. It should make things more accurate and allow Sonic Heroes (PAL, NTSC Multiplayer) to be played without inputs being dropped. There are potentially other games broken by the same bugs, but, this is the one we're aware of existing. Thanks for your time!

Does this PR make inputs more responsive? or just more accurate when replaying? Just as clarification, you just want us to record movies with gamecube controller input? Either way, I will record some movies when I get home with crazy taxi, haunted mansion, 007, and whatever else I have.

I have a TAS made with 4.0-8534 (and also with some older revisions). In 4.0-8631 (containing the change you refer to) it no longer plays back correctly. Not sure what happens, but it reached 'Movie End' at frame 567/16317. I didn't try creating a new TAS

I dont think he meant playing a tas from an older versions. that usually never works moving forward. By the way, this new polling seems to fix my TASing issue when hitting the cutscenes. One thing I am wondering about is When I am watching my rerecording input and then I want to start TASing again. Pause at End of Movie stops 1 frame early (which is good I think..) But I un-check read-only mode, save state, load state. I should be ready to tas again? but it doesn't.
