Heishiro Mitsurugi is the character you see before you.
He has the strongest Unblockable which deals 180 damage... out of 240... which is only 75%...
But as luck would have it. This move is indeed a 1 hit move especially if you time it correctly.
"What does this mean?" You may ask. Well, simple. It's time for more menuing shenanigans to get the AI to do what I damn want. The only issue in this game, is besides being 30fps, is that the start menu shows up much later, so there's the higher possibility of the AI attacking before I can reach the menu.
The second part of the manipulation is entering the next fight later than usual. This is why you see some "YOU WIN" screens for a little longer than expected just so it's possible to manipulate the AI in the next fight better.

How come you have 37"84 remaining when the majority is ending with 37"91?

I have no idea.
Heck there's a 37"94 in there as well, and I was going for mainly 37"91 and 37"94 on the original v2 version of this TAS, but it wasn't working out. The timing I ended up using was frame basis so I can be able to compare the difference in fights which there wasn't any difference from what I found.

Samsara: Judging.
Samsara: Hot damn, we needed more speed-oriented fighting game submissions with weird in-game timers. Accepting to Vault.
feos: Pub.

Mitsurugi uses a very slow unblockable attack to KO every fighter, including a clone of himself, in about three minutes. Along the way, you get to see where Voldo and Cervantes, both characters I only know of because of SoulCalibur's existence, originate from. It's funny that Namco developed the SoulCalibur series; heck, they developed Soul Blade, too. And I only know of this game's existence because of an SNES bootleg named after it. With this being said, like with what I had to say about N?K's Mortal Kombat II improvement, I've just about summed up the TAS. Meh vote.

Yoshimitsu IS NOT in this game, otherwise i'm sure he would have stabbed himself along other people all the time, yes vote from me!
TAS i'm interested: Megaman series, specially the RPGs! Where is the mmbn1 all chips TAS we deserve? Where is the Command Mission TAS? i'm slowly moving away from TASing fighting games for speed, maybe it's time to start finding some entertainment value in TASing.

I liked this, there's a lot more going on here and the RNG manipulation is more noticeable here as well (in my eyes at least). Yes vote.

Honestly, as a person who don't exactly play fighter games a lot, for all I know they're all the same with different characters and moves. Probably applies to other people and genres.

I wish you had picked any of Mitsurugi's other costumes. I always thought the green was pretty boring and plain. Either way, neat as an exercise, but not really entertaining. Weak Meh vote from my nostalgia factor kicking in and people getting hit despite the sidestep.

Is it "when getting a counter hit"? That's certainly what it looked like. Meh vote. Repetitive, but makes the hardest AI walk repeatedly into a very slow, super-telegraphed attack. edit: caveat, watched provided encode

FUCKING FUCK I forgot about 30fps again
Warning: When making decisions, I try to collect as much data as possible before actually deciding. I try to abstract away and see the principles behind real world events and people's opinions. I try to generalize them and turn into something clear and reusable. I hate depending on unpredictable and having to make lottery guesses. Any problem can be solved by systems thinking and acting.
