I know Bizhawk contains mednafen as its PSX emulator, but I'm having trouble bringing my Xenogears save file from mednafen to Bizhawk. I moved the .mcr files in there, but it appears that Bizhawk uses a .saveram filetype instead to store its saves. Is there a way to convert .mcr to .saveram, or is there another file I should be moving to transfer my saves? Sorry if this isn't the appropriate place to ask this, but this appears to be the official forum for Bizhawk if I'm not mistaken.

Steps for bringing your xenogears save file from mednafen to bizhawk 1. load xenogears, select one memory card in bizhawk and close it. 2. select what-mednafen-named-it.mcr 3. rename to what-bizhawk-wants-it-named.saveram 4. place that where-bizhawk-wants-it. 5. run bizhawk
