This hack is getting very popular between Super Mario World speedrunners. Would it have a place in this site? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XbXRljTOJLA

While I'm not familiar with the hack, its popularity, difficulty level and design seem good to me. The rule is: Non-official games (hacks, homebrews, etc...) Non-official games are allowed for submission. However, they go through more scrutiny than other games. This is because the game itself also becomes a subject to judgment, so it must be a high quality and notable hack or homebrew with a strong following. The TAS should be high quality on its own merit, and must also show something interesting compared to other game(s) made on the same game engine, if applicable. i wasn't sold on it until halfway, there are some very creative stages made in that hack, but the 11 exit run wouldn't be the best showcase. Also,if it does get accepted,it should obsolete the demo world TASes imo.
TAS i'm interested: megaman series: mmbn1 all chips, mmx3 any% psx glitched fighting games with speed goals in general

I'm not sure how hot I am on this, because the extremely high optimization level of the demo world TASes is really cool.

There is no reason to obsolete Super Demo World. These are pretty different games, the site isn't running out of space or something, and I don't think a SDW TAS is less entertaining or replaceable at all by a JUMP TAS. I'd like to know if there is the possibility of this hack being published without obsoleting anything else, like SDW, KMW3 and TSRP were. I find it is a very good hack, but I don't know how rigorous the site is.

We're not obsoleting SDW runs for any reason other than newer, better SDW runs.

It shouldn't obsolete Super Demo World because Super Demo World is a different game. Obsoletions are supposed to track the improvements inside a given category, not to unpublish runs to keep the number of games or categories low. If you don't like Super Demo World, you should argue for unpublishing it directly (and I think you will have a hard time convincing anybody of that), not try to sneak it in by the back door by abusing obsoletions.

I've started a 100% TAS of this game as an improvement to J1h7e7's run (of which I cannot seem to find a movie file for). This run will probably not be for submission, but if anyone would like to see how I'm going, I have a WIP below. Link to video EDIT: working video

Coincidentally, I have actually also started working on an improvement to my 125/69 TAS. Looking at your WIP, there are parts which you have done faster than I have, but also things that I have done faster than you. I'm not really sure what that means for either of us, but maybe some sort of collaboration would be a possibility?

I would be stupid to refuse an offer of collaboration on a run this length! I'm currently at Euphoric mushroom backyard. Do you have a github account? Because if you'd like, I'll upload it there so we could edit it together. PM me if you're interested.
