Hudson Hawk is a short platforming game loosely based around the movie of the same name. There are 3 levels which you hop your way through to find a treasure at the end, dodging obstacles and defeating enemies as you go.

Game objectives

I decided to play this game since I saw it both in the SDA runs without a TAS page as well as the TASMania spreadsheet. It looked short and fast so I gave it a try. Overall it's a pretty simple game but does require a bit of luck manipulation and strategy.
Some tricks to look out for are the punch-jump, where you can get a lot of extra hgeight by timing jump inputs just right on top of a punch animation, jumping through croughing areas, and hopping wherever practical which saves a little time with each jump.
There isn't much to say about each level overall. Level 1 was the most involved in trying to optimize the lasers and the gas jets, the other two levels were just a lot of running and jumping.
Special thanks to J^P for helpful WIPs where I learned some tricks of this game, and to WhiteHat94 for the RTA run.

Noxxa: Judging.
Noxxa: Short and sweet run. It keeps moving along at a decent pace. Accepting to Moons.

Never saw the film, but based on this game, it's probably a cartoonish story about a guy with sunglasses who has to pass through urban obstacle courses for little discernible reason. The light physics based aspects of the gameplay were nice. Music was also nice. The flashing colors when you got alarms (?) in that one level were annoying. Generally the gameplay didn't excite me too much. The goods and bads combined, guess it makes an average 'meh' vote.

Looks like a good run based on what I've seen from White hat's RTA runs. Also great to see people making good use of the TASMania spreadsheet

I've lost my WIP which ended around the "Rutherfords" scene 2:30 in the encode. Here's my notes that might improve this TAS: - Jumping gives 2x speed for 1 frame (when you jump). - You can increase the speed of “laser traps” if you alarm them (striped two-colored ground or switches on the wall) - If you hold left or right as long as you touch the floor from air with 2.0px/f, you can wait as long as you want, then continue to run or jump with 2.0px/f instantly, instead of waiting the speed meter to reach that level. This is very useful for optimizing the delays to avoid touching the laser beams. You can verify you are in the right state by pressing only jump. which will result in jumping forward in the direction you are facing with 2.0px/f instead of simply jumping without moving horizontally. - You can get inside boxes and you can pull them while inside. This way you can also jump while falling and even move forward while bringing the box with you. As far as I remember, getting inside a box can be done from below and from above as well. - Check out B holding punch --> I'm not sure what I meant about this, as I don't remember the ability to punch.
