Ok this si a new tas I made and I made sure that I used the pal emulation for this one and when I open the movie it says pal is on. There is no flagpole glitch on this one because I found a tutorial and I only watched it once but for some reason its gone now so sorry about that. This is really just for people who might want to console verify is they live in europe. Once I fnd out the rta timing I will put what the time would be but this is no world record.
I used Fceux 2.1.4a for this tas.
I did most of it with a nes usb controller frame by frame but at the begining of levels where I do left + right I change the left key to my keyboard and keep right on my controller.
For those of you who are new to tas or speedrunning you might see me appear to jump through some piranna plants in 4-1 it is not a cheat its just that the hitboxes in this game arnt that good (see them here:https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=smb+hitboxes&biw=1639&bih=780&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjbtoqOy8TRAhVlIcAKHQZFAK4Q_AUIBigB#imgrc=DZEIm1nTaJ81RM%3A)The piranna plants seem to have really small hitboxes or some reason.
The goal of this tas is to beat the game as fadt as possible using warp zones.
For that few who havent played super mario bros before, super mario bros is a platformer for the Nes (Nintendo Entertainment System) where bowser (a dragon/turtle/thing)has kidnapped your girlfriend princess peach and you have to jump from differant worlds to save here. I would deffinatly reccomend trying it.
Nach: In order for a movie to be acceptable, it must beat all current records. Even a very unoptimized run of this game is faster than this submission. More details are in the discussion thread itself. Canceling.

Even if your movie now correctly uses PAL mode for the PAL movie, it fails to be close to an actual record. The fastest PAL TAS of this game currently stands at 4:56, over 24 seconds faster than your movie.
