DL here: http://nvdata.pilif.ch/road_runner_dvr_WiP.zip or http://nvdata.pilif.ch/ (and look for road runner) ok, so i mainly wanna know whether this is ENTERTAINING or if its just a FAST WALKTHROUGH? keep in mind, ive skipped all that i can as far as "cutscenes" go... some of those are just mandatory. im posting this because im stuck on the fifth level as well and am getting sick of running in circles. so if someone wants to complete this, its fine with me. in case anyones wondering, ive taken a slight trip into nostalgia land and am revisiting some old games. anyhow, post comments and such. EMU - snes9x v1.43+ tick WIP1 timing & Fake mute desync workaround oopsies... its the USA version. :)

Gonna check it out now, have you published it or isn't it the full run? What rom did you use?

I could say that in my eyes you were just aiming for pure speed. I also noticed some things that might slow down: Like, in some levels you didn't use all your energy and that slows down when it comes to the bonus couse you get points depending on how much energy you have left. And your jumping is not perfectly every time either. And in the second level (I think it was) you raised a flag. Is that really necessary? Doesn't it slow down the flag bonus?

i tried avoiding flags as best i could. i think the one in 2 was in my route to the trampolene. i didnt use my energy all the way because i was doing these as i go. its still a WiP and i just wanted to get enough of it done to see what it was like as well. overall, the games fun and frustrating to do. as far as avoiding all flags? not sure. i mean, if i had to tiptoe around one and take extra time, i dont think it'd help in the long run. Caz, could you elaborate a bit on the jumping? i know this is rough, but i want to know EXACTLY what you mean to make sure. thanks for commenting BTW. :)

Well, in most of the movies the jumping are precisly, YOU jump a bit OVER the platforms THEN land. But this isn't "tha real run" anyway so it doesn't matter.. But if you make a complete run I think it would look much nicer if you tried to jump exactly on the right spot if you know what I mean.
