I am using the latest edition of BizHawk (1.12.1) and am having problems with using cheat codes on any game on any system. I am obtaining the codes from gamegenie.com so they are the legit codes but they don't appear to work in the games. I am using the Game Genie converter to enter them and the codes are being copied and pasted to make sure there are no mistakes. I have tried codes for NES, SNES and Genesis (MegaDrive) games but none of them work. Anyone else experiencing problems or is there something I'm doing wrong? They worked before for me on older versions of BizHawk so can't understand why they aren't now. I have deleted all the old .cht save files in order to add the new cheats to the game too but still have no success. Thanks guys and gals!

NES: Works for me, can you give a specific example of a code that doesn't work? SNES: not sure Genesis: known to not work in 1.12.1, should work now in the dev build though so give it a try.

I have upgraded to 1.12.2 and Genesis game genie codes are working fine now. Also appear to be working on NES games too. Still not working on SNES games though. Have tried several games and all codes have come from GameGenie.com direct. Games tried on are Zombies Ate My Neighbors, Mario All Stars, Animaniacs and Megaman X.

I looked into this briefly. It seems the memory watches (cheats) are not being transmitted from BizHawk to the bsnes core. So even though they are being created correctly they will not have any effect. Not sure if/when/how it will be fixed.
