My first run using FCEU. I can't stress how good frame advance is. The entire run was done frame by frame, so it is very precise.
New Improvements:
1-1. Uses the ladder warp glitch, which requires both careful timing of the "Get enemy stuck in the floor" glitch and "Fall through the floor" glitch, to get to Birdo and finishes the level 4.25 sec faster.
1-2. Toad is used instead of Luigi. This time Toad is unharmed from picking up the enemy underneath the flying carpet. Jumping on the carpet is more precise. Over 3 seconds is saved by using the Illusionary item glitch to defeat Birdo with a vegetable instead of the key.
4-1. Faster by 14 frames using a quick double jump.
6-3. Is around 5 seconds faster using up+down to jump the wall instead of double jump.
7-1. Around 7 seconds faster using up+down.
Just about all levels and bosses are done frames faster.
I also try to improve the run aesthetically.
Glitches used:
  • Double jump
  • Double jump from under enemy
  • Faster running with Toad carrying an enemy
  • Pick up nothing
  • Pick up enemy from underneath
  • Get enemy stuck in the floor
  • Fall through the floor
  • Ladder warp
  • Illusionary Item
  • Up+down fast climbing glitch
Features:
  • Takes damage to save time
  • Aims for fastest time
  • Uses warps
  • Genre: Platform
  • Abuses programming errors in the game

wow, AMAZING run! Definate yes. Loved the pseudo-nothing trick (sorry, just borrowing terminology here ^^;) I noticed that on the first level Luigi's introduced, he stops in midair. Was there any purpose to that? (my understanding of it so far is that Luigi jumped so high off the screen he hit the bottom of the pillar, preventing him from moving. If I'm wrong please correct me)

Really, really great job. Though, I also would like to know the following:

On the second flying level you pause for a ½ second or so to land on an enemy when it looks like you could have continued onto the next flying thing (A bee). Is there no way to reach that one?

6-2, that is? It was done to affect the movement of the birds that are coming. If he hadn't slowed down, he wouldn't have been able to land on a bird. I think. And the beezo is coming much later.

I checked back Genisto's run and saw similar thing so that solved it.

In that part of 6-2, the Beezo is just out of range of the longest double jump you can make, so you have to land on an albatross first. To make an albatross appear, you must move at least 1 frame backwards(left), which is what Luigi does off screen. The pause is actually a quick backwards and forwards movement.

I havent seen genisto's version, but yours was so good I found myself laughing because of the impressive aesthetics in the video. Well done.
