Spy Muppets: License to Croak is a Muppets franchise 2003 video game made for Microsoft's Windows system and Nintendo Game Boy Advance by Vicarious Visions and distributed by TDK. It is a spoof of the James Bond films, the title being a reference to Licence to Kill. It is an action game where the Player controls Kermit the Frog through several stages in order to stop the bad guys.
The game nowadays is known as a memegame, thanks to ProtonJon streaming the game at one point and spawning memes of Kermit and Subway sandwiches.
Piggy Galore
Auto-scroller. This is the main problem with game. They can drag on for too long, making the game vaultable automatically.
The fruit section is weird. Jelly beats pineapple, eggplant beats jelly, pineapple beats eggplant. It can be stupid with RNG and stuff.
Dr. Nose
Another-autoscroller. Then theres a snowball fight game with chickens... don't ask why.
And then there's the boss who plays like the stage select screen thing but with annoying ass chickens.
King Prawn
Oh you don't like auto-scrollers? HOW ABOUT TWO THEN!? Then the boss has long claws that can kill you fast but then you can use a taser to shock the guy and beat him.
Final Boss (i won't spoil it here)
Throw bricks. The very first frame the bricks dissappear you can throw another one.
Ok, I know I haven't been all that active on the site through... the whole year but you know... personal issues can fuck you up. Sorry... um...
I did this just to I can get the feel of TASing and because the game itself is funny... thats's it.
Possible improovements:
- Choosing King Prawn first in the level select might be faster.
- The fruit sections and boss in Agent Piggy's level could be better with better RNG and chooosing the right fruit to throw.
- The boss in Dr. Nose's stage could have a better route, as well as less problematic chickens.
- Forgot to eat a Subway sandwich
Special Thanks
Thanks to the speedrunners that speedrun this stupid memegame and to ProtonJon for showing off this game I never knew it existed so it could made my life a little better.
ThunderAxe31: This game is mostly made of autoscrollers and simple challenges. However, it's nicely optimized in the few places that allowed some strategies. Accepting to Vault.
