every time i load sm64 us or the japan rom it crashes i don't know what causes this and i don't know how to tas n64

What Bhawk version you use and ROM name? Because this game run well on the latest version of this emulator. TASing on Bhawk, on N64, is approximatively the same thing than to others consoles... Your question is not clear, Have you a problem to use a specific tool or setting? These tools are more used than other: "Frame advance" to control frame by frame and find optimal solutions. "Save states" to save. "load states" to load your "save states". "Increase speed" and "decrease speed" don't need explanations, I think! If you want configure all of these, you should go to - config / hotkeys...
