perhaps it would be nice for there to be a arcade section... because there are many great games out for the arcade that didnt come out for snes, neo-geo, genesis... games like battle circut, metal slug the series, 1944, and millions of games made from capcom thatcame out for the Playstation but are still playable thru the arcade. its just a suggestion.. plus what emulators would be acceptable.. because the most popular for capcom is final burn.. and for neo-geo. mame and kawkas which also plays capcom games.. dont ffor get mame is a universal arcade game so it plays all

Arcade games will get a forum as soon as an acceptable re-recording emulator is available. So far final burn alpha lacks some important features.

Out of curiosity, (and I know this is incredibly off-topic) is there a Playstation emulator with acceptable re-recording features? 'Cause I'd love to do a bare-bones run of Megaman X6 in less than an hour, and I know Final Fantasy Tactics has a huge following and has crazily abusable luck factors.

do final fantasy tacitcs on the gba instead, because re-recording on psx is very unlikely. Try searching the forum, it has been discussed before

I have an idea: Someone should make 1 movie that beats 2 completely different games with the same exact input. It'd be an impressive accomplishment, depending on which 2 games were chosen. Oh, about whatever the topic is, I really like FFT but I second FFTA being a good idea to time attack for now (currently closer to being possible). It too has crazy luck manipulation possibilities, probably moreso actually.

nitsuja, i proposed something similar on the Pinball thread. here: http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1490 your idea is doable too, i can see how to do it. open 2 emulators at same time each with each rom, and play both using frame advance, taking care that each move will be usefull on both movies or at least not result in death / stuck.

Don't forget that Famtasia lets you press buttons when the window isn't on top!

That would be very doable. If you choose 2 games where start toggles pause, get past the menus and so on and then hit start at a time where one game has enabled pause, and the other hasn't enabled it yet. Then finish the 1st game while the 2nd is paused, hit start, and finish the 2nd game.

Oh, but would that be the FASTEST way to do it?
