Apologies if my post is in the wrong thread/unprofesisonal etc. Does anyone know any TAS software for any .exe file? I'm making a game in Fusion 2.5 and it is a frustraiting platformer based on getting the best time for each level and I was wondering if I could use some TAS software to get the best times for the levels I made instead of slaving hours upon hours away to get the best possible time by myself. Any answers are apprechiated, thanks.

There is no TASing framework that works for all .exe files. If it doesn't work with hourglass, you're probably out of luck.

[16:08:10] <BenLubar> a TAS is just the limit of a segmented speedrun as the segment length approaches zero

There's Hourglass, but it's somewhat finicky (working much better on some versions of Windows than others) and frequently doesn't work (either with specific programs or in general). There's a project to write a newer version of it but it's nowhere near finished. If you're making the game yourself, TAS tools such as savestates and frame advance are often fairly easy to implement into the game engine. That might be easier than trying to get hourglass to work.

That project was cancelled unfortunately.
