I am looking for a full archive of Super Mario World Sprites. All I need really, is a sprite of Mario riding Yoshi with wings. I have looked at many sprite websites, but none of them seem to have what I am looking for. Anyone got some good links?

Why not just get it directly from the the game? Turn off everything but the sprite area in the place you see the srite you want, and make a snapshot.

I haven't seen any full SMW sprites on any of the sites I frequent. Even a quick check of Shyguy Kingdom doesn't give a hit. But if all you need are Mario riding Yoshi with wings, I could probably take care of that when I get home (in about 4 hours). I'm not sure how long it'll take, though.

I have a mac, and I am not familair with a sprite only feature, if it even exists on SNESx9. Now that I have done some more work on my project, I realize I also need a sprite of the feather. If anyone could get me those two sprites it would be greatly appreciated.

nice Gigafrost. the way thats done reminds me of how you could extract Sprites from PSX CDs. did u rip these out of the ROM or make them yourself? cause i really want to do this as well for some VG characters. just curious.

You just disable layers in your emulator of choice, and use the screenshot key.

Yeah, that's what I did (with the exception that I captured just Blue Yoshi with the wings and copied\mass-recolored). At least, that's the normal method. I do recall there being a program to look at sprite data for a ROM. But, honestly I couldn't use it. I think I was supposed to hand organize and hand color each tile. Bleh.
