Post subject: Cheat code converter doesn't work

Whenever I paste in a Gameshark code and click Convert, it acts like it's taking the code by removing it from the text box, but it does nothing. Nothing in the main Cheats menu, and no effect in the game itself either. Am I doing something wrong?
