198 frames faster than Andypanther's run thanks to new warp and one optimization. To play this movie, download patch from here and apply to base rom.

Games objective

  • Takes damage to save time
  • Uses warp
  • Aims for fastest time

Levels outline

Level 2

Saved 2 frames from better boss fight.

Level 3

Saved 196 frames from using warp to next level.
There might be some timesavers but I coundn't find any improvements in other levels. (for now)

Thanks to

Andypanther

He'd found several improvements from my old run and I copied his inputs for level 1 and 2.

MagicK

He introduced new warp in forum and that inspired me to pick up this game again.

Ruins the beautiful music. No vote. (it's actually a meh vote, great improvement)

Nice job beating me here, I knew there was time to be saved. And somehow, you managed to make this mess of a game look even more broken!
Current project: Gex 3 any% Paused: Gex 64 any% There are no N64 emulators. Just SM64 emulators with hacky support for all the other games.

Why, oh why, has nobody ever made an actual good game using the Cheetahmen as main characters? They actually seem like they could be interesting, especially with that amazing background music when it isn't interrupted by all the sound effects. I have no idea how that warp works, but I have no idea how most of the game works. Good job with the improvement.
Used to be a frequent submissions commenter. My new computer has had some issues running emulators, so I've been here more sporadically. Still haven't gotten around to actually TASing yet... I was going to improve Kid Dracula for GB. It seems I was beaten to it, though, with a recent awesome run by Hetfield90 and StarvinStruthers. (http://tasvideos.org/2928M.html.) Thanks to goofydylan8 for running Gargoyle's Quest 2 because I mentioned the game! (http://tasvideos.org/2001M.html) Thanks to feos and MESHUGGAH for taking up runs of Duck Tales 2 because of my old signature! Thanks also to Samsara for finishing a Treasure Master run. From the submission comments:
Shoutouts and thanks to mklip2001 for arguably being the nicest and most supportive person on the forums.
