Newer rules means that the older one is up for obsoletion.
Have fun judge.

Things that Spikestuff forgot cause they were busy submitting another 5 April Fools TASes at the same time and left it out like a derp.

  • Bios: SCPH5501 (NTSC-U bios)
  • Matches In-Game Time with Predecessor
  • Improves TASTime
  • Hardest Difficulty
  • Damage to Save Time
  • Heavy Luck Manipulation.
Wait. The only thing that's different is the TAStime but the IGT matches... what's up with that?
Like I wrote, fastest IGT is an 8"80 with Yoshi's suicide.
However, new rules implemented last year means it's up for contention.
Why didn't you do No Sound and/or Quick Select?
It was a round behind when up against this movie.
Spikestuff you didn't mention the differences!
Compared to the predecessor there's no pause buffing in the first 2 stages, there's less buffing when later stages are compared.
And Double Suicide is used to help the manipulation and the required amount of pause buffing to reach the 8"80.
This is probably the last time I will look after a speed-oriented Tekken 3.
Farewell IGT Tekken 3.
If this gets accepted I'll finish writing the subtitles as I hit a wall.
If it doesn't get accepted... it won't be completed.

Memory: Judging
Memory: Optimization appears good, less pausing compared to the current publication. While the submission does prioritize ingame time and less pause buffering does not improve ingame time, this kind of improvement is acceptable as precedented by #5876: MrWint & Omnigamer's A2600 Dragster in 00:08.39.
It's still a really repetitive TAS though so its destination is Vault.
Accepting to Vault as an improvement to [2943] PSX Tekken 3 by Spikestuff in 02:21.17.
fsvgm777: We meet again, 480i. Processing.

So why does that move kill enemies instantly, and is it an easy move to pull off in game? I have never played this game before so I wouldn't know.

Cause AI is dumb. When playing with another human being it's avoidable, even when it's the fastest move.

So what exactly is different between this and the publication? Your submission text refers to new rules but doesn't specify. EDIT: According to spikestuff on IRC, it was the amount of pause buffering.
[16:36:31] <Mothrayas> I have to say this argument about robot drug usage is a lot more fun than whatever else we have been doing in the past two+ hours
[16:08:10] <BenLubar> a TAS is just the limit of a segmented speedrun as the segment length approaches zero

I never thought about it but this game also has teeken force mode, which is a beat em up that could have very different strategies as there multiple enemies and walls to perform different combos( a lot of infinites exist in this specific mode), i'm not a tekken person so i can't help with this Link to video heihachi combo was very funny at 5:56
TAS i'm interested: megaman series: mmbn1 all chips, mmx3 any% psx glitched fighting games with speed goals in general
