Here is a list of movies nominated (no thanks to all those who didn't give a link or movie # so it was impossible to tell what they were nominating). If you think something here is not deservant of being nominated, speak now. Nach: Should really two different runs of Umihara Kawase be nominated? And no room for Goof Troop? :( Is it only me who find it humorous?

Cazlab, perhaps one Umihara Kawase run should be dropped, but which one? I also didn't put Goof Troop on the list because I didn't see it while going through the topic. No numbers or links that stood out to me as I scanned the page.

Well... I'm not that familiar with Umihara Kawase so I don't really now what to say but I think that the 13:15 run is more entertaining. Sorry I didn't post a link to it, anyway here it is! http://tasvideos.org/movies.cgi?id=152

I'm so surprised I'm one of the low% Super Metroid's runs only fans. I love that movie, it's definitely one of the most entertaining for me simply because of the creative methods of sequence breaking. So basically while I'm making it sound like it's for most creative use of glitches, it's this element that causes it to be so entertaining for me. http://tasvideos.org/queue.cgi?id=455 The others are already in that list, and I think they're all good movies... the only one I'd personally probably remove is Sparkster. And DKC probably wouldn't be on my own list.

As many people said before, this is an award for entertaining not directly for quality of the movies, and entertaining is mostly based on the game itself, and I really have enjoyed DKC 101% since this game has the most beautiful graphic on SNES IMO and also the sound is extremely good.

I must say I did not enjoy the DKC 101% run. No offense to the author, but it gets really annoying having the Kongs stop, enter and fail every minigame and just continue on. It really ruins the pace IMO. But I loved the 25:19 version and would rather nominate that instead. BTW, I liked the Mega Man 7 run by Tinister much more than any of the Xs, but I don't think it should get a star.

They do win one minigame you know :P. I liked the 25 minute version, but I think the warp glitch skips too much. There are a lot of glitches in this game, so I'd like to maybe someday work on an "amazing run" like Genisto is doing with smb3 that can be made ready for next year's competition.

Yeah, thats exactly the point why I like the 101% run more. And also because there are many hard to find secret rooms and this movie shows them all. Also the "Tanked Up Trouble" level was very entertaining where I thought many times he will die because he jumped very far away of the lift but got with help of enemies back again there.
