My brother is in need of the best NES emulator. He has tired a few but he is unsure of the names. So I just thought i'd ask what has the best emulation speeds and sound emulation here. I know you guys will know. Remember it's for the Mac OS X and not windows. lol We just found Nekolauncher FCEU (sp) and it seems to work fine. Still your input would be nice.

What are the specs of the Mac? If it's an older machine, then you might have to settle with FCEU which is a pretty good balance between accuracy and speed. If it's a faster machine (like a G5 or the upper-class Intel Macs), then you could be perfectly fine with an accuracy-oriented emulator.

My emulator QuickNES runs decently on older machines and has nice movie support with re-recording: http://forums.emuscene.com/viewtopic.php?t=2579 The latest posted version is 1.1b1: QuickNES-1.1b1.sit
