Rodrigo Camargo's ultimate Minesweeper clone: http://www.geocities.com/minesweeperclone Found this today, and it's the most comprehensive Minesweeper program I've seen. It's pretty much identical to the factory-default Windows versions, but with cool extra stuff: - Stats up the wazoo, so you can brag to your friends. - Video recording, so you can brag even more to your friends. - Multiplayer internet minesweeping joy. - Quite a few cheat features, for those of you who just wanna play around with the program. And it's freeware, to boot. Worship the man. :) The 12345678 sequence in the above picture was made with the prog's board editor. The 1234567 sequence in my avatar actually happened during a real game (which the guy lost...d'oh! >_<), and the video of it is available on the homepage (along with several others...ph34r their minesweeping speed).

It's funny that I went to play minesweeper, but decided not to, right before coming to this board. My reason for deciding not to: there's 5 minutes left in class. If I don't end on a win on expert, I feel off. Minesweeper has become an addiction for me. I play for hours in a row sometimes. I think it's a pretty silly game if you think about it. Imagine if the bombs were shown to you, and you had to put the numbers. It's just a counting game. I think I may delete it to save some precious hours of my life. Still, cool clone though. What's your fastest expert time on the Windows version? Mine is like 135 or something. I'm not at home right now so I can't check.

Mine is 181. :( And I'm the best person at Minesweeper I've met. Oh well.

I'm still trying to beat the Intermediate board without getting blown to smithereens, as I just "got into" the game a few days ago. =P Have y'all seen Dion Tiu and Oliver Scheer's videos? They both smoked the Expert board in 39 seconds...@_@ They're at http://www.planet-minesweeper.com/bestever.php...click on the 39s in the Expert column to download the videos (which are MVF format, for playback in Rodrigo's clone).
