How to set up a custom palette in FCEU? Also, what kind of display device is this palette designed for? Colours appear different on different monitors, as everyone should know.

Bisqwit: in the Windows version, it's Config -> Palette. I'm not sure if I like this palette more than BMF's version. The colors seem much more determined and slightly more contrasted in it.

In SMB, with BMF's palette, the sky turn out to be a little purple which isn't the case with ASQ one.

You're right. But on the other hand, this new palette also seems slightly less saturated. The message boxes in Final Fantasy 3j look slightly more cyan than blue, which isn't that attractive, in my opinion. Maybe it's more accurate than BMF's version 3 one, but on the whole, I kinda like his.

I think Mega Man looks too dark when using this palette.

Too dark? What do you mean? When I compare Mega Man with the REAL Mega Man colors, http://www.mmhp.net/ , not the Famtasia sucky colors, it looks the same colors. And I am sure default FCEU colors are wrong as well.

Apparently, the author had made a final release. Now, Mega Man is brighter ;) and no more little purple sky in SMB.

The newest ASQ palette (called "RealityB") makes the sky in Super Mario Bros extremely purple compared to any of the other palettes, and gives everything a weird tint. (And I checked its sky color and found it has higher red-to-blue and red-to-green ratios than the others, so don't say it's just my monitor.)

Well, apparently, it wasn't the final release at all. I'd recommend you to use RealityA version.
