I've created a death counter lua script for BizHawk, by request of a twitch streamer. It shows the number of times you've died on screen. I've added support for a number of games, but it's relatively easy to add support for others. You can have a look and/or download it here: https://github.com/tomcss/bizhawk-deathcounter
