Yep, you read it right - another blob game. Blob Land is an NES homebrew released by Wendel Scardua. You're a blob who has to go through 9 screens of platform/puzzle action. You have to dodge animals and drink potions to make it to The End Land in record time.
Objectives:
- Emulator used: FCEUX 2.6.4
- Forgoes time-saving level skip feature
Level Skips:
By pressing S, it's possible to skip every level in the game. However, I cannot do this in the run as it's already been done in a previous game and been rejected. That game in question is "Trials of the Wolf Clan: The Wolf Spirit".
Statements about the game and/or TAS:
- Jumping is slower than sliding. That's because there's a 22 frame interval where you cannot move after doing it.
- However, jumping is usually faster to avoid enemies, depending on where they are on the screen.
- There are 2 colours of potion: purple and yellow. They can help you go through blocks of their respective colours.
- I have to do a lot of waits for enemies to move. These can last up to several seconds.
- Input ends when I'm in position to warp to the screen that says "THE END".

If this is the same as Wolf Clan where the level skip is a debug function, then it can't be published, which makes this the any%, or baseline branch. I would leave the branch empty. Also note that we don't use "no x glitch" anymore. For glitchy games, we now do the inverse: A branchless baseline and a much shorter "x" glitch branch.

i suspected that. i think that’s also the same reason why HappyLee’s last tas got rejected.

just found another 5 frame improvement on screen 6, but enemy cycles meant those 5 frames were eventually lost.

If you jump at frame 4011, you then can reach the first platform in the next level faster since you are already in the air. After this it takes some work to resync things, but you can definitely save at least 10 frames.
