Just curious if anybody is interested in a little hub here in this thread for teaming up on TASes.
Originally, I thought that's what the co-author system was for, but it moreso seems to be people improving on new submitted runs, or improving old ones without starting all the way over.
I would think it would be very cool to do some multi-people runs, particularly of the hours-long variety, to flatten the pain.
I guess the easiest way to do this would be to blast through the game RTA and start TASing at the level you are assigned to. Level select codes too.
Unfortunately it does seem that it would have to be a game that does not have RNG and doesn't desync, if TASing simultaneously.
Otherwise you'd have to wait for the other person to finish and then perfect it, which could take a very, very long time.
But at the end of the day it's the same as going back and editing your own run, you'd have to do some resyncing and whatnot if the game calls for it.
Oh, and I feel like private Discord group conversations as a team hammers away at a game would not only be very comfy, but probably amazing for glitch hunting and strategies that span all levels of a game. (Jump 2 frames before landing, etc.)
