This is a fairly simple TAS that aims to get glitched music as fast as possible. By pressing buttons extremely fast (sub-frame input), you can cause the music to glitch out as shown here. Happy April Fools 2023!

Darkman425: Your NES, it is very sick. Let me diagnose this.
Darkman425: I see the problem here. Mr. Gimmick here just needs to go outside once in a while to not freeze up and make weird noises until reset. A trip to the Playground is in order.

I'm always a fan of subframe TASes! Great work, cool discovery, and the glitched music sounds pretty rad.

I wonder if this would work on console...
I was laid off in May 2023 and became too ill to work this year and could use support via Patreon or onetime donations as work on TASBot Re: and TASBot HD is stalled. I'm dwangoAC, TASVideos Senior Ambassador and BDFL of the TASBot community; when healthy, I post TAS content on YouTube.com/dwangoAC based on livestreams from Twitch.tv/dwangoAC.

Probably. SMB3 worked on console, so probably. No resets or power cycles were needed.
