Angel Island 1
(Takz) I compared this run to marzojr's newgame+ run and I realised then that Hyper Sonic was double jumping at the second loop zip rather than sending himself to the end of the first half. This may definitely be used in a revised Hyper Sonic + Tails run.
Angel Island 2
(Takz) Even though I achieved a 1:03::xx, I still could not improve marzojr's time possibly due to small frame losses here and there.
Hydrocity 1
(ShiningProdigy) I used Hyper Sonic for the boss, but if you're wondering, no, one of the the clip zips with hyper sonic doesn't work since there's an invisible wall.
Carnival Night 2
(Takz) Decided to avoid the monitors above the giant ring as it was a pain trying not to deflect Sonic from them. Other than that this was the best time I got.
Ice Cap
(Takz) No improvement in the Act 1 segment, however I had to position myself to get to a certain y-coordinate that enables me to level wrap and rush to the snow block. 286 frames were saved in my initial attempt which was done badly and another 7 frames were saved from reaching the transition snow block the earliest I can.
Launch Base 1
(Takz) The boss was very annoying but I managed to figure out the earliest jumps where Sonic can double jump towards the upper Twin Hammer.
Mushroom Hill 1 & 2
(Takz) Optimised zone compared to ShiningProdigy's attempt. 12 frames were saved in Act 1 yet it is 5 frames slower without the help of Tails. In addition, 30 frames were saved in Act 2 before the giant ring while another 32 was from improved precision and then taking the bottom route before the boss.
Sandopolis 1+2
A big improvement due to spindashing towards the Act 1 boss giving the last hit before bouncing back to the door and preventing the signpost from pulling any monitor. On top of that, Sonic did not need a shield for clipping into the slope and he falls past a higher ground onto another slope to grab the giant ring faster.
Death Egg 1
Could have achieved a 53:xx if the platform at 0:30 was not solid. At least 11 frames were saved in the end compared to my old run.
Death Egg 2
Same time as before except real time lost due to no invisible platform which would have saved around 30 frames
Doomsday
Never liked this level, and because the movie ends at the last hit of the second phase I changed the timer to 1:30:47 instead of 1:34:49 which is the last frame before the lua script disappears. I was not able to do the pause method that marzojr did in his run because it was a massive struggle for me.

ThunderAxe31: This movie aims for the "newgame+" goal, which counts as form of second quest, allowed for standard. Also, it picks a character choice, Sonic, that is slightly slower than picking the Sonic&Tails choice. From what I can see, gameplay is appreciably different, so it can be considered as an independent game mode for Standard.
