Lamp oil. Rope? Bawmbs? You want it? It's yours my friend. As long as you have enough pages.
Important Stuff:
  • cdimono1 - CD-i (Mono-I) (PAL)
  • -w -noka -skip_gameinfo -nomaximize -nonvram_save cdimono1 -cdrm "full/path/to/Myst.cue"
  • Disable Configure Options -> Miscellaneous Options -> Skip imperfect emulation warnings
IT'S MYST. WHAT'S THERE TO MENTION?
idk, probably that two zips don't exist in this version:
  • Clock Tower to the crossroad towards the Generator and Log Cabin.
  • Library to the Docks.
If you get desyncs delete from the nvram folder cdimono1.
Special thanks to fsvgm777 for validating sync for me, and also basically pointing out to me (without pointing out) that I forgot to delete my nvram folder.

Dammit, I'm being beaten to the first CDi movie, aren't I? Well, good work, and nice touch with Morshu in the thumbnail lmao

Am I the only one who still waits for Stovent's emulator to come out?
TASing is like making a film: only the best takes are shown in the final movie.

Yes.

However, MAME 0.240 has a working CD-i driver, and it works well

wait with MAME in libTAS that means CD-i becomes TASable ? MAME's CD-i driver got rewritten a few months ago and is now very usable

MAME still complains about every version except Mono-I (PAL)

yeah it is known that only Mono-1 BIOS works, but it should be listed as working
This last one is interest if MAMEHawk has support for the console systems. Guess which one Stovent was interested in.

with MAMEHawk CD-i should work?
All this can be found in the Discord. So you want to talk about the run or not?

Not enough Zelda, voting No. Why did you choose Myst instead of one of the best CD-based Zelda games as the first(?) CD-i submission, btw? At around 1:40, it looks the wheel turns in the same direction despite you moving the cursor to different spots. Is there a point to moving the cursor?

Actually, the CD-i Zelda games ARE the best CD-based Zelda games by definition, because Nintendo never made any CD-based consoles- they skipped straight to Mini-DVD from the N64 to GameCube

Right, but there could still be only one of them as the first CD-i submission. To get back on topic, my question about the cursor is still open.

It's just so I know when I'm able to move the valve due to the long wait. There's nothing to it. This is also done in the PlayStation version.
