I'd forgotten all about that run. There's no reason the glitch would screw anything up in the other games - there is a huge # of ways to generate the correct values, so this should definitely enable the quad to be done more quickly.

I'd personally prefer a multi-run to actually have the inputs visibly synchronized; having too much of "left+right or down+right can do different things on different games" as in the current publication almost makes things unremarkable. This could be further improved by making the input display visible somewhere in the encode. It might also be entertaining to have SMB1's second quest finally completed for once, as no current publication does that.

I think so. However, when player go to ending with ACE in SMB3, player have to focus on SMB the lost level, which is a 8minutes 5secs long as a fastest time. It means it is difficult for SMB1 to have second quest if player aims for the fastest time.

Felt like giving a little update at least... The project has been going quite slowly the last two months. But we are working hard on them again! Warpless: At 3-Airship, 669 frames ahead of published TAS. 100%: At 6-F1, which it has been for about two months because of research and lazyness :). It will move along too though. Won't be done this year, as I was hoping, but it will be eventually.

Any WIPs for me to verify? Current published warpless does not verify, and it would be nice to know if there are any issues in this run.

http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/1580863925/Super_Mario_Bros._3_w4ftow5.fm2 I was able to lead to the state to clear the W4 of the ship from the fortress. But, it seems to be freez. State that does not freeze might be possible.

You don't have to hit the P-switch for the door to be active, it just shows where it is hidden =). We've decided to not use this in neither Warpless nor 100% though. But yeah, you can do quite a bit with it.

Just want to announce that the 100% TAS is now done! The run will be streamed with commentary with me, Lord Tom and Kirua, who is the current WR holder for the 100% category. Date and time is yet not decided, I'll mention it here as soon as I know, in case people are interested in watching. It will likely be streamed on my channel: http://www.twitch.tv/tompa

Congrats on finishing the TAS! Can you record the commentary to a separate track so it can be overlaid over the official encode? That'd be great.

I am wholly pumped to the max for some new SMB3 action from y'all, I'm sure your effort will prove to be a complete mindfudge. This nonsensical post was simply to track the thread. :]

Hopefully this one console verifies...the warpless run doesn't.

Prepare yourselves... The stream is tomorrow.
Why do we call it saving frames if we only plan to get rid of them?

You should still be able to watch it under Past Broadcasts, I think. That's what I'm intending to do.

Yeah, I apologies for it being a pretty bad time for the stream... We, at least I, didn't want to wait another 1½ week to be able to stream it on a weekened, which might not have worked anyway. I just hope that my computer/connection will be able to stream it properly, at least my tests show that it works. But it might as well end in a disaster. So people might not miss out on anything :). (Hopefully not the case)
