Feng Shen Bang (封神榜) is a Chinese RPG developed by C&E Inc. It is based on a Chinese novel of the same name, which translates to "The Investiture of the Gods." The story is set during the fall of the Shang dynasty in China, where Nezha, the son of the general Li Jing, sets out to defeat the tyrant king Zhou.
This TAS plays through the game while manipulating luck at every turn to complete it in record time. Subtitle commentary is available in the YouTube video captions.

Note: The game database calls this game "Fong Shen Bang - Zhu Lu Zhi Zhan (Ch)", but this is incorrect. The game is called "封神榜" (Fēng shén bǎng) in the game itself, the instruction manual, and on the box. I don't know where the other title comes from, except the game database itself. The novel it's based on is called "封神演義" (Fēng shén yǎnyì), but it is also known as Fēng shén bǎng.

nymx: Claiming for judging.
nymx: Ok...sorry for the dealy, but this was a bit to digest. The longer the TAS, the longer its going to take. During this time, I had to decide on how I was going to analyze this to make sure it was given the proper attention for judgment. I say this because, it was hard to find anything that I could use to compare it with. Yeah...there are people that run it but I can't tell how serious the run was...being between a speedrun or casual play. What I can tell you is...this TAS seems to go way beyond what a human can do...which is exactly what I needed to discovered. My guess is, that this run is at least twice as fast as the best efforts that I found as a compilation.
I apologize if some of the information I was seeking was in you your documentary sub-titles. I tend to read things and almost forget them shortly after. Doesn't matter though...this run appears to have enormous advantages over any human effort....mainly because of RNG manipulation.
If this run was on the border line of acceptance, I would definitely call this run out for a "baseline", as stated in the goal. I think you did far beyond that. Speaking of the goal, I'm removing it in favor of letting it stand as an any%...meaning, you easily achieved that baseline for others to go after.
Accepting.

I wonder if the title that is in the game database is the result of a bad or inaccurate Romanization attempt...

I believe that's part of what happened. I can understand how they called it "Fong Shen Bang" because that's a little closer to how you would pronounce it, but I don't think that's the reason, since "Bang" isn't pronounced the way it's spelled in English, either. My only guess is that it was a mistake, or maybe it's a different system of romanization I'm not familiar with, since "Fong" doesn't mean anything as far as I know. That said, I still don't know where they got "Zhu Lu Zhi Zhan" from. All I know is that it says something along the lines of "The battle of Zhu Lu". What "Zhu Lu" means, I'm not sure. The only alternate title I can find a reference to online is "封神榜 伏魔三太子" (Fēngshénbǎng fú mó sān tàizǐ), which I think says "Feng Shen Bang", then something about three princes and conquering demons. If you google those symbols, a lot of Chinese articles will show up. Still, I can't find anything in the game, the manual, or the box that has the subtitle text.

I like the screenshot that's on the publication better than the one I suggested originally. Good pick!
