Why TAS This Game?
The continuation of TASing games from my all-time favorite magazine, Compute's Gazette. This makes my 71st TAS from this series.
This issue came along, while I was still without a Commodore 64. Well, eventually...I got one. This was on the list to type in quickly and play!
Game Difficulty and Ending
At the start of the game, 4 levels of difficulty are provided. I choose the hardest, Level 4. As for the ending...you'll be indicated by a message of "Victory", only to be followed up by the "Game Over" screen.
Effort In TASing (Not BOTed)
This game had a bit of turning point for me. At first, I thought the game was running on a timer. Because of that, I was going for maximum score. Well, after starting over from the beginning and improving this TAS...I saw that maximum score was a very shaky category...as I was about 6000 frames faster over my first effort. I continued on and improved this movie by ending input earlier than I have in most of my games. In fact, it was around 800 frames cut from doing so, although it depended on the outcome of luck.
Human Comparison
I was surprised that I couldn't find a human playing this game. I figured it was more popular for someone to post a video. Well, nothing to be found.
feos: Claiming for judging.
