"Help the little girl get out of this nightmarish town..." that's the description for this title on the Newgrounds page.
Compared to other Daymare titles created by Mateusz-Skutnik this one is a platformer and follows the song created by Cat Jahnke, Better.
You collect five vinyl records each representing a backing of the song, and place them in five separate gramophones the escape Daymare Town.

Anniversary (mechanics) differences.

So compared to the original version there are a few differences besides visually and they are:
  • Change of hitboxes in relation to the bounds of the next area and platforms.
    • This allows entering certain sections sooner.
  • Platform placements have been moved, and in some cases widen.
  • Cat's movement is different.

What do?

  • Load the exe into JPEXS Free Flash Decompiler.
  • Save [8090272] As a Flash File.
  • Done.
One thing to note, and one thing I didn't check within libTAS x Ruffle, but Ruffle alone did this.
The game will automatically go into fullscreen, to counter this change Scripts > frame 1 > DoAction (12)'s entire inner section to just:
 {
   full_screen = false;
   getURL("FSCommand:fullscreen","false");
 }

feos: Added info for SWF editing.
feos: This version was released for Windows, and we mark our unofficial ports according to their original target platform.

Interesting looking game. It seems like there is a heavy emphasis on music, but I suppose beating it as fast as possible means we don't get to hear all the tracks. The graphics look unfinished and the start of the game has no sound besides the screen skips which are the downsides. Although for a short flash game is kept me entertained. Yes vote.

This is the visual style that Skutnik created for the Daymare series. That is not a good comment to make about someone's visual style.

Am I not allowed any criticism of art? Any statements on artistic merits are all subjective. IMO it is not colored, it lacks detail, and a lot of pieces look like parts of the background so it is hard to tell what is what. So I do not like the art.

When I load the exe into ffdec, I see several SWFs inside. If I save as SWF without selecting anything, it only saves the first one, which is 40KB. If I select the exe at the top, it can't save it. Should I save them all separately?

Where's DoAction (12)?

Scripts > frame 1 > DoAction (12). That one's on me. I was assuming the search function was being used.

Square brackets, due to limitations, and lack of knowledge with noparse on submission text.

Hmm, with Ctrl+F it only finds something if I search for DoAction without brackets. Maybe version difference, I'm on 18.4.1.

Does this game a strict fixed linear route, or is there some room for different order of actions?

It's mostly linear, it's similar to the other Daymare titles, just without the point and click. This version is more broken as well as improved compared to the original version. Not really much to write home about to be honest.

I made a rough comparison video by adjusting the framerate of the original game video, and adding some pauses to align the rooms (more or less). Since the route is the same due to the nature of the game, I need the audience to express their take on the 2 versions of the game. Do they feel different enough to co-exist as separate branches? Link to video

They are very similar. Couple graphic changes, one room that moved a platform, and another that made the platforms wider.

Hmm, we don't require versions of the game for different systems to look as different branches to co-exist, just to not be identical... Now while both versions of this game are Flash under the hood, this one has been actually revisited when preparing a Windows release. The route remained the same (main gameplay has not changed), but the entire game seems to have been made nicer to play. So if we count this as a proper release for another platform, maybe being non-identical is enough?
