I've had this issue since day one and it's only taken me a number of years to finally ask here. My fps remains at a solid 60 according to the fps counter, yet the gameplay itself - everything is not smooth at all. Best example I used was the tried-and-true; Sonic the Hedgehog. It's rather headache inducing and I don't know what's causing it. The moment the backgrounds scroll, it's choppy/jittery. I've played this game in its authentic form for 30+ years and it's never played like this. Is there anything I can do to fix it? I'm using EmuHawk to run Genplus-gx.

Try enabling VSync? Config -> Speed/Skip -> Check "VSync Enabled"

I've had it both enabled and disabled, i've flicked so many settings around and nothing has changed or improved. I've no idea what to do here.
