In 2019, EZGames69 first submitted a TAS for this game but cancelled it after finding out Twisted_Eye had a WIP that got better RNG (which is very difficult to manipulate in this game). I decided to take a look at his WIP myself and found 14 frames of improvement near the end. I have designated Twisted_Eye as first author since most of the input in this submission is his.

The current speculation seems to be that difficulty maxes out after 5 loops.

As mentioned here, completing only one loop (one complete building) of the game is sufficient for publication. A run that chose to continue until a later completion point (i.e. end of difficulty increase/new content) would obsolete this run despite being a longer run itself. As I mentioned in my opinion in the thread, 6 buildings (loops) would exhaust new content from what I can deduce from the game's manual; while speculated that end of difficulty increase is aroudn the 5th building, it is not currently clear where difficulty stops increasing.
Another run option for this game would include (but not necessarily be limited to) a "maximum score" branch.

Regarding # of loops for maxing out difficulty/content: The manual simply says that the difficulty increases the more buildings are scaled, so nothing definitive there. It does, however, mention that extra chances (lives) can be earned through play. For the first 5 buildings, the player can earn up to 5 more chances per building. Starting with the 6th building, the possibility of earning more chances is reduced to 2 per building. So I'd say that a goal of maxing out content would need to complete 6 buildings (loops) instead of 5; in order to show at least one full loop with this new chance earning variant. All that said, a single loop is sufficient for a baseline run.
