• Recorded with FCEU 0.98.12 (blip)
  • Aims for maximum point count in minimum time
  • Luck manipulation
The goal was completed in 3:56 or in 14185 frames. It consists of 41 tetrises that platform off the 10th row and lastly the 10th row cleared to simultaneously minimize tetriminoes used and distance dropped. Effort was made to only permute a new string of tetriminoes by pausing when either doing so would save frames in the long run or would alter otherwise unpreventable topouts. By saving the right hand middle column for tetrises, the structure allowed for higher and speedier placement.
The run improves the last published recording for this game by starting faster, using less pieces to establish the platform, pausing less, and finishing more optimally. It was a pleasure making, and I hope the viewer enjoys.

Bisqwit: Congratulations for having the courage of doing it and succeeding :) Processing.

Great run. Near like the old Tetris Version, but faster time. So YES from me. Looks great.

Nice, finally gives me motivation to get back to my own improved Tetris run I left unfinished a few months ago ... I had also thought about dropping the straight bars in the middle, but filling up the rest as much as possible before each Tetris would save even more time (but require more pausing for luck manipulation). Mine was about 4 seconds ahead of this new run after the 9th tetris ... this can be done within 3:40 at least.

I voting yes because this is better than what is currently published, and also because I want to give Acmlm some motivation to finish his version.

Neat. I love how you get one extra line after you end the recording. :)

Why do you press pause?

Isn't it explained in the movie entry?
