wow that video was really good. that should definetly be used. you gained a lot more distance, and the turning was extremely nice as well. if rapidshare is down, try mediafile.

rapidshare is not down thex moved to bigger servers and have now an international interface http://rapidshare.com/ fyi: level 3 servers do always have full speed

Great news Mukki! It doesn't Desync! you get out into Termina Field, do the bomb slides and get past the ice and into the mountainy area all perfectly! Excellent job so far :)

Could you post a savestate at the beginning of the Termina field part? It desyncs for me right outside the bomb shop

If im gonna watch a WIP thats have a save-state, how do I load it and still watch? Im a little n00b at watching WIPS.
Those who sees this must accept that TAS'es almost skips the whole game..

load the m64 in read-only mode, then just load the savestate like you would normally and it will play from that point. Try as I might I always get a desync when link flower-flies towards the fairy on the finaly day of the first cycle :/ It's good to know that it works great for one other person though.

would be two; I'll take the time now and see if it works for me. I'll edit and report what happens. Edit: Got out of the bomb shop... and desynced right after the bank. I'll try again doing different things until it gets it right.

Your backwalking with bombs is still imperfect. You don't need to stop when shield dropping the bomb. simply press R while backwalking to drop it. The second superslide should still begin with a backwalk, however short it might be.

The first backwalking bomb looked good I thought, but the second one I agree wasn't perfect. I'll keep fiddling around until I can get this WIP to play correctly for me. but Raiscan has it working, so that's good at least. (speaking of which, nice AVI.)

Never drop anything with A unless you have to, L+R is much faster. Edit: Also, crouch stabbing twice is not required to activate the sword glitch.

Thirded. (because seconded was taken.) I like how the crabs just baaaarely jumped over you as you passed them. The superslides were much better, going through the ice was much faster, treading through the snow was good. also, now that you are out of town are you experiencing less/no desynchs?

someone on IRC mentioned how the clock town has more expansion pak demands; that might be it. But, that makes things MUCH easier for you I can imagine. As always, I look foward to the rest of this, which should come along faster now that you've left desynch town, population: not Mukki anymore

This seems the only explanation for desyncing and savestate issues inside Clock Town; particularly in West Clock Town. I definately don't desync anymore, saw your new and very nice bomb jumps and quicker jump over the ice, and the route up further into the mountains. Very nice.

Dammit, when I watched it from the start it desynced before the bomb before the bomb shop on the second cycle, I wonder if it would be fixed if I move the A button press till a frame later. I've seen the superslide video in Termina and that was quite impressive so thumbs up for that. I think its best to get the chest in CCT and and buy 20 bombchus and deposit the rest in the bar 20 ruppees since it useful for the Zora game bomerang game (or however much it costs), bomb drops can be manipulated in the grasslands. I think its also worth trying to see if the Zora flying glitch allows Link to be able to play the beaver race game and get a bottle.
