Yeah I think picking Cody would be faster but for entertaining reason, I would definitely pick Haggar. But chosing Haggar shouldn't cost much time compared with Cody. What you say about the Arcade version is probably true (I say probably because I have obviously played this lovely game for both snes and the arcade version and I recall you could do that). But if someone would approach the game like that, we would probably see less action so you have to think about it. I think most tases of these type of games do that so I guess Final Fight should be no exception, despite the fact how incredibly awesome Haggar smells, feels, talks, walks and most importantly, kicks ass! :D I wish to God someone will pick this up.

It seems you're in love with Haggar! xD Don't worry man, i'll keep your secret! ;) hehehe... But yeah, the most entertaining run would be the one played as Haggar imo.

I'd be interested in a Super Aleste (Space Megaforce) run. I've been thinking about doing one myself, but haven't actually found the time to work on it due to it being so long.

King of Demons could be interesting. There's a Let's Play of it which is how I found out about it. Appears to be a fairly standard platformer, but after beating some of the bosses you're given the opportunity to turn into one of three different demons with varying abilities -- and the transformation sticks until you pick a new one. Using each of the basic demons once gets you access to a super form for the last levels, or you can pick the same demon several times to power it up more.

Once again throwing out "Super Widget." Simple, pretty platformer from Atlus.

Been awhile since I heard anything bout Terranigma. That's what's currently at the top of my most wanted list.

It's better to ask for a progress update in the topic about the game.

I have just seen the stream contest of this game and can say that it is AWESOME! And it is almost unknown outside Japan. Here's another full gamplay video of it. http://www.youtube.com/user/LordTyphoon/videos?query=KING+OF+DEMONS
Warning: When making decisions, I try to collect as much data as possible before actually deciding. I try to abstract away and see the principles behind real world events and people's opinions. I try to generalize them and turn into something clear and reusable. I hate depending on unpredictable and having to make lottery guesses. Any problem can be solved by systems thinking and acting.

I'm actually working on a TAS of it at the moment, about halfway done. It's getting done in spurts, but it should be done sometime soon.

I'm curious whether any of the Koei SNES games are viable for TAS. I know a few like Genghis Khan 2 and Aerobiz don't work so well, but something like Uncharted Waters 2 might have potential with a few of the scenarios, although a few others not so much. Perhaps not the most high profile of games, but really quite an enjoyable one. I do see there's a WIP of Brandish, so that may pop up in time.

Inindo seems certainly suitable given: -SNES RPG runs can be 3-4+ hours already -Holding R button makes you dash faster than any DQ-style RPG I've ever seen But I'm not sure there's enough sequence breaking to be viable, and to my knowledge the bosses ramp up in difficulty so much at the end you'd need to spend an unfortunate amount of time levelling. (I think Dizzy only gets you so far, even against the final boss.)
