This movie is faster than my movie at all the levels. When I reviewed my movie,I found some parts that can be saved time. However, this movie is great beyond my expectation!

Yes from me. This is much more interesting than the other versions of this game, and easily different enough to be published no matter what Truncated might say. =P -Josh
but then you take my 75 perchance chance of winning, if we was to go one-on-one, and then add 66 and two-thirds ch...percents...i got a 141 and two-thirds chance of winning at sacrifice

Oh yeah, I voted on this before but forgot to comment. 1.) This is definitely the best version of this game. 2.) You beat it very quickly. 3.) You knock several guards into spiky pits. Those are my reasons for voting yes. (I'm surprised so few people have watched this still.)

This is... amazing... just amazing! This game is awesome! I never thought this game would be so different from the Amiga version. It was full of surprises at every level, and you made a whole lot of incredible tricks that seemed imposible. Not only you managed to get a lot of "WOW!"s from my friends, you even managed to get applauses!!! Thank you for making this TAS, SprintGod. I wouldn't have enjoyed the movie so much otherwise. Great work! What are the rest of you waiting? Go and watch this run immediatly!!

I liked this. A nice movie on a different variation of the classic game. It was smooth, the game actually *looks* very hard, a thing not many games achieve. Out of curiosity, what's the deal with the mirror? Anyway, yes.

Sorry for being offtopic, but the link to the SNES9x WIP in this thread doesn't seem to work... are there mirrors? With the latest SNES9x from ipher's site I'm getting desyncs at the end of the first level.

I'd also vote for yes. ZoSo729: Download Snes9xw-improvement7 mentioned above and start it. Load the jap. Prince of Persia ROM (don't ask here where to get it though). Then load the movie via "Menu-File-Movie Play...-Browse" and hit OK.

Wow, can't believe how much better the japanese version is compared to the others. I used to play this game a lot on the PC and can barely stress enough how much has been added. Great run also, I think I've only seen one dubious scene in level 18 or 19 (sorry, forgot to note the frame), where the Prince turns twice on the same platform although he doesn't seem to have to (no wait for a gate to open required). Definite YES vote, good work.

The country has nothing to do with it, just the system. The Japanese version is used simply because you can skip the logos at the start. As for that bit, you have to get in and out without triggering either of the two switches, otherwise you're forced into a long detour.

Doesn't this game abuses programming errors? What happens then with most of the monsters at the end of the game, which die as soon as they appear?
No.

Right, I was kinda going to ask "what programming errors does this movie abuse". You answered it. :) How does it manipulate luck?

Getting Jaffar (last boss) to teleport repeatedly. It wastes time if he attacks from the opposite side of the screen.

Snes9x (improvement7) crashes whenever i try to load this movie. Has anyone else had this issue? Is there a way around it or should I just grab the avi?

Maybe it's just me, but the AVI torrent won't load into Azureus. It seems like it's a problem with Azureus, but I thought I'd check first to see if anyone else was experiencing this problem.

Would anyone be interested in a 100% run of this game? I'd define 100% as 1) all life extensions collected. 2) the float and at least one screen inverse potion collected. Collecting the second one to fix your screen again is optional. :) 3) Genocide of Jaffar's guards. :) Yes this means the ost direct route will fail the objective. Surely you TASers can figure out how to slay them all and still beat the game. :) If any are left alive, explain why they must be allowed to survive to complete the game. A TAS that kills them will obsolete, even with a faster time. 4) potion of warp not used. 5) the skeleton that blocks the path to the level 3 exit counts as a guard, and must be defeated by knocking it into the crusher. Any other skip you can work out is fair game, so long as all guards in the level are slain that don't keep the level from being winnable. Yes, this means you must slay both guards in level 1, for example. If you can figure out how to do so without a sword, more power to you. ;)

What additional entertainment brings 100% over this route?
No.
