I'll be leaving for a couple of years. My call came in last week and I'll be headed for Colorado Springs come November 30. Much like Elder Fullmer, that means I'm not going to be able to be around for that while. I really don't mean to make a big deal out of this, but considering this is a pretty big thing for me, and I wish not to pull a ziplock, I figured my best bet would be to make a topic about this. (I also don't want this topic to turn into a debate; I'm just saying goodbye and explaining why, that's all) Don't worry, I'm not leaving this site immediately, but come November 1st, I'm gone! :P So without further ado, here's a list of game I expect to see by the time I come back, in no particular order and updated whenever a new one strikes me: NES: Holy Diver Doki! Doki! Yuuenchi Namco Star Wars The Empire Strikes Back Hello Kitty no Ohanabatake Air Fortress Strider Ufouria Beetlejuice Xexyz Nightmare on Elm Street 4 Player (if possible) Mission: Impossible Cocoron Willow Alfred Chicken Monster Party Noah's Ark The Simpsons: Bart vs the Space Mutants The Guardian Legend Gameboy: Metroid 2 Metroid Fusion TMNT 3: Radical Rescue Shantae The other Zeldas Genesis: Sonic the Hedgehog Herzog Zwei Sparkster Updated Rocket Knight Adventures Alisia Dragoon Garfield: Caught in the Act Desert Demolition both characters Super Nintendo: Run Saber 2 Player Spanky's Quest Joe & Mac Robocop vs. Terminator Mazinger Z DKC2 N64 Kirby 64 Bomberman 64 all gold cards Mischief Makers Edit: I forgot something. Anyone who wishes to obsolete any of my movies for any reason can consider themselves as having a yes vote from me. Unless you're just hex editing or something that leaves some of my work intact; then I want it to be a joint effort. :P
A hundred years from now, they will gaze upon my work and marvel at my skills but never know my name. And that will be good enough for me.

If you're headed to Salt Lake or Provo, look for David Chalk, Travis Seymour, Tommy Seymour, Declan Pizzino, etc etc. Otherwise, have fun.

No freaking way. I'll be leaving about when you get back :P I had no idea I wasn't the only LDS member here. I guess I didn't really put forth any effort to find out, but oh well. Well, good luck on your mission, and it's doubtful that I'll have remade RKA before you get back, so someone else will have to do that for me.

My, my, same here. :P Wow. That was certainly unexpected. Bit of a pleasant surprise, though. And don't worry about RKA. I've had a year to submit a faster version of GI Joe but that never amounted to much. >_< Atari movies? What good would rerecording be for there beyond Pitfall and Adventure? The rest don't end. :P Personally I was kind of hoping I would end up in Finland (get a chance to meet Bisqwit in person) or Japan (so I could finally play all these stinkin' Japanese games), but whatever. I've always wanted to go to Colorado. Although chances are I'll be in the plains. I don't like vast expanses of nothing. <¬_¬> I'm hoping it will be fun. I've had many people say it will be, but I've also heard it will be a lot of hard work. Doesn't that seem contradictory? :P Yes, Zurecco, I'll be in Provo for a few weeks, but I'll only have a few days worth of touring. I doubt I'll be able to see anyone. :( Say, every one of these paragraphs ended with an emoticon. :|

Well, for atari games you can basically play till the score loops (frostbite), or untill the levels loop (hero), or play really long (river raid), etc. And a lot of activity is funner than sitting at home all day. Varied work is fun, what isn't fun is repetitive work. About ziplock, i fear the worst... you know what i mean.

Good luck! Just be thankful that you weren't sent somewhere like France. My cousin is currently on a mission in Montreal, Quebec (Spanish-speak FTW) and won't be back for another ~20 months or so. My brother 'majickaly' (TM) got infected with Mononucleosis or something at the MTC two times and therefore wasn't able to go.

Ferret Warlord> Ooh. I guess this isn't the time to have an argument about religion, right? Thought so. :( Well, you just go and have fun for two years, and we can have it when you get back. :) I also like emoticons. FODA> About ziplock, i fear the worst... you know what i mean. He had prizes going on his site and was doing timeattacks, etc. pretty active and then he disappeared without warning and it's been a long time nobody heard about him. People die easily, you know, i hope i'm wrong, but i'm pretty sure that's what happened to him. Nobody plans to die, unless you're a suicidal.

Good bye Ferret! Good luck on your mission! (Not that I really encourage it, but anyways) :) <-- Emoteicon. Too bad you didn't pick any good titles in your request (besides Sonic). Otherwise I might had concidered making one of them. :) Haha.. When it comes to this it's rather funny. The last thing you remember from me is that I pissed you off with insulting/stupid/annoying posts. :) Nah.. I like you man. Hope that you get back home in one intact peice, eager to make new TAS's. Take care!

Unless this is referring to your current post thus turning this into a joke, I'm afraid I don't understand.

The funny thing about South Park is that it is the name of a basin. There isn't actually a town called "South Park" in Colorado. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Park_%28Colorado_basin%29

Well, today marks my one year aniversary of having signed up for the forums. Interesting that I'm cutting out at about the same time I came...

Here's the latest post I can find here. http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=27256&highlight=#27256 But since Ziplock's a GameFAQs contributor, there's a good chance he uses some of their message boards, too.
