I saw this topic on SDA and found interesting the comments people posted (TSA, for example) so I thought I'd post it here. Ouzo is a type of alcohol I remember being the most distinguished I've ever tasted. Plus I like the name - short and sweet.

One may think that my name was inspired by Redwall, but it just came from my love of ferrets and the fact that I thought "warlord" sounded like a cool surname. So, Ferret Warlord. On a side note, googling "ferret warlord" DOES bring up a bunch of Outcast of Redwall stuff, but my submission page is the first hit! :D
A hundred years from now, they will gaze upon my work and marvel at my skills but never know my name. And that will be good enough for me.

It's funny, just yesterday I thought about where I would find a screenshot of this to post if this topic was ever introduced. Back when Killer Instinct had just come out in the arcades, I got a high score, and I put in J, for my first name, then just hit random buttons and moved the joystick, and ended up entering JXQ, which I thought sounded cool. It probably also helped that those letters are in a vertical row.

One of my characters in the swedish pen-and-paper RPG "Drakar och Demoner" (pretty much like "Dungeons and Dragons) is named Randil. And for those who're interesterd, his profession is "wise man". He's not good at fighting, but knows a lot :)

Here is a link to AngerFist's homepage: http://www.angerfist.nl/ I love this nickname because it sounds so damn cool. The point is, you've got a Fist, and its very Angry, yeah thats about it ^_^ But the truth is, he is a Hardcore Dj, extremely famous in Holland. I recommend listening to these tracks from him if you are able to get them: Aerotech Warning, Bonified Alcoholik Musik Making Muthafucka, There You Go, Raw To The Floor, Representin Gangsta Shit and of course the track: Raise Your Fist!

When i got access to the internet i quickly made a nickname for me: NESRocks. But when i started playing my favorite online game ever, age of empires 2, people started saying i was a newbie because of my name and booted me from the rooms so i made a nick "DiE_SouFoda_DiE", which would mean something like "die, i'm freaking good, die" and they wouldn't boot me anymore. Then i joined a clan called UoBtEx. Because of character limits in the name i had to shorten it to UoBtEx_FODA. If you directly translate "FODA" from portuguese, the meaning you'll get is "sex" (actually when it's meant as sex it's a harsh word). But in Brasil, foda is quite common in spoken language for making a complement to something. It's the ultimate complement hehe.

I was always fascinated of Astronomy and while creating a nickname I thought I just pick up a name of my favourite planet of our solar system. And this was definitely Saturn since its a special planet with his unique rings. Sadly I completely forgot at this moment that there is another console called Sega-Saturn which was annoying to remember. I wanted to change the nick but I thought it would be too late since I already contributed some movies on Zophar under this nick (on which my Internet-being as a stable nickname began). Now I don't care anymore.

I choose mine as being the most pompous nickname possible, while still being unique (I choose it back in late '99 and to this day when you google it I'm the only result...)

I got my name from a fantasy serie called Shannara, 9 (damn the times goes fast) years ago when I started to use internet. I've used it since that. It seems to be a rather popular name though but I haven't played DaoC and I haven't contributed to GameFaqs either ;)

It's not. The guy there is "Walker Boh Ohmsford". I'm simply "Walker Boh". Meaning, I haven't wrote any walkthrough, but I have contributed with a few tricks, such as for Rygar when Ziplock was around.

I made up my crappy nickname without even thinking about it, and now I'm too lazy to change it.

My nick is supposed to be written in Katakana (イリアス), and pronounced semi-fast too.

Gigafrost; came up with it not long after I joined Starcraft. Me and a friend simply came up with a naming convention that went ____frost, hence why I'm Gigafrost and I talk about Terrafrost, Megafrost, Chronofrost, and more.

I have never seen shin = "death". There are many words for shin but I believe that shin = "god" or "divine" (神).

Hmm.. i have seen lots of kanji's or japanese marks and it means SHIN = Death/Die etc. and many Character's says Shin/Shine in anime series Die/death etc. But i think "SHIN" can mean many other things too

I can be an egotistical little bugger. XD "Rick" is my real name, and I've always used it online. Other incantations you may see around are Rick Cressen (online alias last name), Rick L, or...back in middle school, Rick (Lickichu) You may have seen me around other spots. =D
