In the first light room in the sewers, the room with the bomb able walls. Before the entrance to the dungeon and in the room with the first key. I'm back at two rooms before the boss now, sucky manipulation as usual... sigh...

Boss done, boots taken. http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/1075561802/ALttPAny%25Improvement%20-%20Kopia.smv 750 frames ahead of Erokky 1688 frames ahead of Published run. If someone could make an avi of it, I would be happy :).

Nicely done! All we need now is a lua-script that mutes that annoying "low-on-health" noise. ;)

Thank you for the astounding boss fight. The darkened room after the bow looks wonderful too. Keep it up! And do DKC at the same time! ;)

Very nice indeed. The boss fight in particular was quite impressive, though I imagine it took rather less effort than some of the optimizations you did. Looking solid! But yeah, if we can't find a Lua script to suppress the beeping, then please consider grabbing health if you find a situation where you'd otherwise have the beeping for an extended period (more than a couple of minutes). Yeah, it's a few frames slower...but I find it hard to believe anyone would care if it gets rid of the beeping.

I on the other hand find it hard to believe it really bothers people. It's a part of the game, and it's not even that loud or annoying a noise in this game, unlike in for example Metroid.

I was going to ask if I should avoid a damage boost for the sake of not hearing the beeping sound. Shall I? Also, the boss fight came from Erokky's run. I tried to change it and managed to save 8 frame in the fight itself, but the problem there was that the heart was way too high in the room so I couldn't grab it at once, so all those frames were lost. So all the credit for the boss fight goes to Erokky. Thanks for the feedback! And thanks for the avi, was0x. Edit: I uploaded the movie to Youtube as wel. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lVAqgiZ9K-c

Absolutely. Whatever is the fastest. The sound is nothing compared to Ocarina of Time. Also, you know how I feel about your progress :)

Very nicely done! I admit the shaking lantern was a bit annoying, but it was kinda cool too. Definitely looking forward to more. Mr. Kelly R. Flewin

Sorry to be late on this suggestion, but at frame 15000 or so, is it possible to pixel port between the pillars? I gave it an attempt and I couldn't make it work; however, I don't have the mechanics of pixel porting down to a science.

Omnipoint: I tried to test different route in that room, and it wasn't faster to use PP between the pillars. Unless I didn't do something wrong while testing it.

Nice. Looks like you had no problem with the cyclops. Did you have to sacrifice any frames there?

Yeah, I had to sacrifice one sadly. I redid and saved a frame in the previous room but noticed that I got bad manipulation because of it. I just got the book, yay.

I'm loving how your run looks so far. A couple of things. At the screen before the sand enemy where you damage boosted, you were wobbling up and suddenly you went diagonal left+up and then right+up. What was the reason for that? Also, where do you plan on getting 20 rupees before the monkey?

The reason to that odd movement was that I had to wait a few frames for it to appear as late as possible, frame rule enemy. I tried many different things and that was the only thing I could come up with to do. I'm currently a bit unsure where I shall get the last rupees. I'll come up with that later on :). The boss fight is currently being redone, I'm 8 frames ahead in there but having manipulation problems.

Did you happen to save those 8 frames in the room with the key under the pot?

Yes, indeed I did. I forgot that I didn't need to run all the way up against the door as I would have to wait for the key anyway. I'm going to continue with the run today after a short break with the EG run.

About the rupees, I determined that you only need to worry about acquiring 2 blues without a loss of too many frames. One of them you can get by stabbing one of the plants in the room where you got the red rupee. You have to manipulate so that the plant goes in your path. You may be able to get one in Mountain Tower without wasting many frames. In the room with the Moon Pearl try throwing the first pot you have to lift at one of the crawling enemies.

Is the dehacked server down or was this file removed? I keep trying, but I cannot download Tompa's WIP.

http://www.savefile.com/files/1854907 There it is at least :). I have been redoing the end of the dungeon a lot of times now and because of manipulation issues I have yet not finished the boss :(. It sucks.
