Surely a lot of comments for this, which I really didn't expect... Anyway, to sum it up: I won't be using the glitch in this run at least and I've already continued with the run and the classic enemy manipulation problems. But I'll hopefully be in the Dark World by the end of the day. Edit: Dark World

Castle looked optimal. Keep up the great work. I was wondering if you solved your bomb problem? I looked through Flag's run and I can't understand how it's possible to not take his route where he gets the 8 bombs in Dark Palace. Don't you need to go that way in order to get the hammer? Or perhaps you're talking about something totally different.

Looking good, can't wait to see more.
g,o,p,i=1e4,a[10001];main(x){for(;p?g=g/x*p+a[p]*i+2*!o: 53^(printf("%.4d",o+g/i),p=i,o=g%i);a[p--]=g%x)x=p*2-1;}

Palace of Darkness done, SMV YouTube Dez: I think that will explain it for you :). Thanks for the feedback. Edit: Shiny, would you like to do an encode from frame 74850 please? :)

Me and my brother were laughing our heads off at the glitches you performed in this level. What a treat. Have you already determined a rupee route for the dark world?

Really nice glitching in Palace of Darkness. I sure wasn't expecting that at all. Two thumbs up!

Dez: I'm going to take both the 300 rupees chests in Thieves' Town. Both of them are close so... Erokky and I discussed it earlier and that's what we came up with. But if you have a better suggestion: Feel free to add :). Oh, and sorry that you and your brother lost your heads, I didn't really mean to :/.

Looks really nice. I dont remember the previous versions taking the hammer from the other side of the barrier, is that a new discovery?

I'm really enjoying this run. I haven't seen the previous full run for comparison, but the optimization and the glitches are just phenomenal. Every new segment brings new entertainment. ^_^

I found that in January last year while playing the romhack Parallel Worlds. So it's not that new really, just hasn't been used in a run until now :). And as far as I know, there are only two places to use the glitch. Thanks for the feedback. I appreciate it!

Would it be beneficial to use one of your surplus bombs to hit the wall to the right of the third key so you don't have to when you come back through?

That is really cool getting the hammer like that. It might be possible to pass through those type of barriers on land too. I know it is possible if you use something to push you onto the starting edge of one (like in first room with bad guys in the master sword castle dungeon). I have vague memory of passing though one not entering from the edge, but still getting pushed by ball and chain thing. But that was so long ago I could be remembering it wrong.

Omnipoint: Yeah, I had that in mind while running it, but at that time I didn't think it would save time because you would have to wait so long for the bomb to explode. But as I'm redoing some of the dungeon now anyway, I'm going to try it as well. Flag: Yeah, you can also blast youreself using a bomb as well. I have tried to find use for it but haven't been able to so far. As far as I know, it doesn't work on |_ those kinds of corners. Only when there's one line of it, either | or _.

Well, I'm redoing the whole dungeon and got stuck at the enemy before I bomb to hole in the floor, don't remember the name of it. I just can't get him to be out of the way as I did last time :/. Going to keep trying with it however.

I got Order of Ecclesia recently so I've been kinda busy ;D. For ALttP: I've been in the room before the statue for awhile. I'm trying a lot of different combinations in there, but it's hard to get something good enough... Edit: Well, the dungeon is finished again... Ended up to be 152 frames faster, not too bad.

Hey how is going Tompa? Any WIPs even if it is just the dark palace still? 152 frames is very nice, it looked perfect already. I'm alright with waiting too if you prefer to make us crave it even more.

Ummm. Totally bad ass. Quick Q? You seem to always get keys = number need for that dungeon. Can you transport keys from 1 dungeon to the next?

IIRC, that doesn't work in this game, each dungeon's keys are stored separately. No more townsfolk warning you to "use keys in the dungeons they are found"

Flag: I'm going to upload a WIP once dungeon 4 is done. I'm currently in the room before the basement and I'll hopefully be done with it today, but most likely tomorrow. Dark: As Twelvepack said: no it isn't possible. Not without using EG so that you can go between the dungeons. Up to the beginning of the third dungeon. SMV YouTube 6911 frames ahead. The reason why I have lost frame is because I had to pick up the rupees that I didn't pick up in Palace of Darkness. Don't know how much I saved in this segmented overall but yeah...

The run looks very awesome so far, great job! I'm wondering what the reminder of your rupes are for, the only thing I can recall are the zora flippers which only cost 300 (I think).
