I just noticed like a million extra downloads on everything, looks like everything here was put up on Suprnova! Thats a major site and it looks like its driving a lot of traffic here and on bittorrent networks of our files. I think this is cool, did someone do this officially? Also its probably a good idea to pull out your movies and reseed them so people can get what they want!

I hope Bisqwit knew about this. Otherwise it's Bad Thing (tm) as he clearly asks people to link to his page instead of .torrent's. The publicity is nice, but I don't think many people will check out the link to Bisqwit's site. Those who do may not bother to read the explanation and come here to flame etc. Still, it's nice to see that other people also enjoy these movies.

The person who submitted the torrents to Suprnova (which is good) , attached a link to my BITTORRENT TRACKER, which is bad. I had to patch the tracker so that it redirects to the nesvideos site. This means that http://bisqwit.iki.fi:6969/ is now redirecting to the nesvideos site. In the state it's now it's tolerable.

yeah i've noticed it as well, and i dont even use bittorrent :p a friend of mine told me alot of speedruns were to be found on it, and i glanced at it and noticed there were suspiciously alot of familiar runs there ;) dunno why i havent mentioned that here yet actually... :\

Yeah I was afraid your tracker would go down but I see things are working ok now, I've been uploading all night. Well, I think that it's cool that the stuff is up there, maybe this site will get linked to again, or was it arc's that was on metafilter or whatever? hehe, maybe I should be submitting a link to some superblog... >:)

Surprisingly many people do read the trailer of the movies. When the suprnova files were put up, I got lots of non-referrer hits to the nesvideos page, meaning that people had actually typed the address to their browsers. But the traffic of course increased when I put the redirection from tracker page to nesvideos page. Yesterday's traffic for the website was about the same as on the Slashdot day. The bittorrent traffic accumulated by about a terabyte yesterday, and today isn't going to fall very far behind. Meaning that the last two days have been two times as much traffic as the preceding 3 weeks.

that sucks tarzan! Thats a cool run, I love that game. well you can probably submit it yourself if you want that DL count up. I really never expected more than maybe 100 or so people from this site to download my movie, it really is quite incredible that 900 people have now, I feel famous (though not so much as the contra and castlevania authors with like 1500 dls plus the ones before reset).
