Hey, don't blame me :P Blame my internet which seems to have slowed immensly. I tried again at half size and it stops at 8MB. I'll keep trying but it's unlikely it will upload. Sigh.

Alternatively, you might send your encode to me via Skype and I'll upload it some place (as I suppose that there's something wrong with your browser and not your connection in general).

Finally watched FP, all thanks to Airman. As you said, quality was a little off, but it didn't detract from Sami's awesomeness. :P Few things... - At the start of the WIP when you beak bust the coffin, I was once able to fluke a beak bust which went through the lid and hit the switch all in one go. Although I don't think this is something to go back for, it's only minor. Maybe something for future runs. - The beak bomb. Yeah, you already told me about this one, but I forgot while watching and it made it all the more awesome when I saw it happen after you left FP. I was wondering how you'd do in RBB with one piece of health, then I saw you go through the door with zero health and I remembered. It makes me wonder, though; since I believe you talked about it only working on certain frames some of the time. Doesn't seem like something you'd be able to pull off on the 64, let alone reliably. - the jump you talked about before entering RBB (the one from the bollard up to the crate with the water switch) - nice. Certainly something I'll try out next time. - you swam through the water to the RBB picture. So I'm just asking; Marsh seemed fairly confident back when he did his run that feathery flapping over water was faster than regular swimming. Have you falsified this claim now? How many frames faster does swimming get you? Everything else was pretty much the standard I'd expect from you after the previous levels. My favourite level run is still TTC with GV close behind, although I'm curious as to whether that will change after you finish the next two levels now.

Aghh I didn't watch the Half quality version til it uploaded. Am sorry for the tears and rips and stuff but if I get time to upload the full quality version I will post another link. :) I agree with Kowz. Looking forward to the last two levels. Especially Click Clock Wood because this level requires some high precision movements which can be done effortlessly with TAS. Maybe a 20 minute or less time? Maybe a sub 2 hour time overall if things go right I think. The time as of exiting freezeezy Peak was; GL: 14.04 MM: 5.08 TTC: 7.01 CC: 8.45 BGS: 12.23 FEP: 12.04 GV: 10.03 MMM: 9.22 Giving a total time of; 1.18.50 Meaning to get a sub 2 hour run the final tasks (RBB, CCW, Final GL jiggies, Quiz, Grunty must be done within 41 minutes and 9 seconds. The non-TAS records (to my knowledge) for RBB and CCW are 13:20 and 22:30 respectively. Totalling 35.50 allowing for 6.41 to collect final jiggies plus quiz and grunty. Who knows? Anythings possible with TAS.

Wow! So, what's up with that beak-bomb that fully revives? Could that have been used when entering mumbo's hut (without getting the honeycomb piece)? I mean, it probably wouldn't save any time since you had to get the mumbo token anyway but I'm still curious. In any case, great job! And here's my late encode. Latest part is 09.

Actually I take that mumbotoken because you need 15 to chance a warlus and that honeycomb came same time =)

Oh, I thought you could maybe avoid it like when you got the first empty honeycomb piece as the walrus. So nevermind :) EDIT: Happy New Year! HQ version now available, check out the previous link, as usual. (warning, large file)

Man, FP was crazy. Lots of unexpected twists here and there, but the thing that got me by far was how you didn't activate the witch switch but still got its jiggy. Looking forward to RBB

Evidently the deathstate doesn't care whether it sent you to a respawn or if you go into a new room. (He does lose a life, if you pay attention. 'course, if he had more lives, then you wouldn't be able to know- it says "9" but keeps track much higher.

The link should work if you copied the entire link. For some reason the tags weren't right, but that should've been fairly easy to notice. http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/267784630/Banjo-Kazooie-TAS-Sami-(USA).m64 Interesting, it doesn't like to make this link right.

Maybe related to an old bug in phpbb where including parenthesis in link cause the thread to crash. Easiest fix would obviously be stop parsing at ( Wonder if this works: Link! Guess not :O

http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/592404302/Banjo-Kazooie-TAS-Sami-(USA).m64 Rusty Bucket Bay Done! Gameclock time is 9.23 =) When I collect yellow jinjo, I fly close to the wall to get shark stuck into the wall. Because of that I can dive to honeycomb room without taking a damage. Fastest way to skip those fans in engine room is jumping trought using talontrot and taking damage. After orange jinjo, the slippery slope is longer than other places where I go so I need use different style in there and some reason (I think its the camera angle) i cant make a full jump and then jump again in that last slippery slope. I slide in that slope and then jump.

Great. I especially liked the way you killed the crate. I hope you do CCW as quickly as you done this one. :)

Very nice WIP. One possible improvement, however: it is possible to do a beak buster through the grating above the fifth Jinjo, similar to the trick used to get up to the crane with the Shock Spring Pad. This may be faster as it allows instant access to the notes above without swimming out and using the crate.

You have to use %28 and %29 instead of brackets: Banjo Kazooie Tas by Sami Watching it now, the last one was amazing.

I wasn't sure what you were talking about, but now I know. I haven't tried this myself but in theory it should work and save at least a few seconds. It doesn't require *too* much of the run to be redone if it does work, either.
